Two Steinways, Two hours, One Great Show!
Legendary pianist Frank DeMiles and Connie Grauer (of Mrs. Fun fame) go at each other note for note and pause for pause in this annual concert to raise money for the Jazz Unlimited High School Scholarship Fund.
The audience is simply spellbound at the artistry as fingers dance up and down Steinways and make their way across the pages of the Great American Songbook, The Standards, Show Tunes and Academy Award Winners through the decades.
The renditions of the songs are stunning and the two players take turns topping each other in this unrehearsed free-for-all of fun, fellowship and musicianship.
This year’s edition will take place at the Steinway Piano Gallery, 11550 West North Avenue in Wauwatosa on Sunday, October 1st, from 2-4 p.m. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are priced at $10 for students (to age 25), $20 for Jazz Unlimited members and $25 for the general public.
Proceeds from the show go to the scholarship fund which annually gives $4,500 to high school students, 14-18, to pursue education in music, specifically in the jazz genre. Tickets can be purchased 2 ways: online at: JazzUnlimited2PianoConcert2017eventbrite.com, send a check to:
