JazzRoots Fest is an educational outreach program geared towards high school students. The first program in this series will be presented on Jan. 8th at Cascio store in New Berlin. The multi-media program consists of video clips about the early development of Jazz. The event will also include live performances by local musicians to present the genre. featuring Chicago Wing Sextet with Pete Wood, trumpet | Chuck Engberg, clarinet 7 saxophone | Bruce Yo trombone | John Carr, drums | Hall Miller, bass.
